Full Time Interior Designer, Los Angeles CA

We are currently building our bench of Interior Designers in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas to provide clients with modern, custom, in-person design services. We are seeking experienced Interior Designers who are looking to work with clients both virtually and in-person.

This is a full-time role, working locally with clients in and around Los Angeles, CA

What you’ll do:

As an In-Person Interior Designer, you’ll work directly with clients in the LA area to bring their dream spaces to life. You’ll combine expert design skills with warm, approachable client service, ensuring each project is both beautiful and functional.

• Travel to meet clients in their homes for consultations, measurements, and style discussions.
• Develop and present personalized design concepts that reflect each client’s needs, preferences, and budget.
• Source furniture, decor, and materials from Havenly’s catalog and trusted vendor partners.
• Create floor plans, mood boards, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including ordering, vendor coordination, and install oversight.
• Provide hands-on styling and finishing touches during final installations.
• Maintain a high standard of customer experience, ensuring clients feel heard, understood, and delighted.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (or equivalent professional experience) preferred.
• 2+ years of residential interior design experience (in-person design strongly preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and completed residential projects.
• Proficiency in technology design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and mood board creation. We are a tech platform and all of your work will be done online.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to put clients at ease and build trust.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with budgets of varying sizes.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel to multiple client locations across Los Angeles.
• Must be based in the Los Angeles area.

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time exempt position located in Los Angeles.
• Compensation for the role is 50-60K+ annually, which includes $22/hour salary + commission and bonuses.
