About the role

As Marketing Event Manager, you will shape Zillow’s strategy for agent-facing events and help build a scalable partnerships program that expands impact, offsets event costs, and supports revenue growth. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and cross-functional leadership to deliver high-quality brand experiences for agent audiences and long-term value for Zillow and its partners. You will report to the Director, Sales Events & Partnerships in this remote role.

You Will Get To

  • Lead strategy and execution for Zillow’s agent-facing sales events, including regional activations, summits, webinars, and large-scale brand experiences.

  • Define program goals, audience experiences, and success metrics that strengthen the brand, deepen agent engagement, and support pipeline and revenue outcomes.

  • Oversee end-to-end event delivery, including vendor management, speaker support, creative integration, run of show, onsite execution, and virtual event quality.

  • Build and scale a brokerage-focused partnerships program with clear packages, tiers, assets, and activation opportunities that support both custom and repeatable programs.

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage brokerage and industry partnerships that align with Zillow’s brand and create mutual value.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Brand, and Marketing to develop compliant, effective programs that drive revenue, improve efficiency, and support long-term partnership growth.

  • Create scalable playbooks, workflows, budget models, and project management systems that improve quality, efficiency, and predictability across the events portfolio.

  • Use reporting, executive communications, and cross-functional alignment to measure performance, share insights, and continuously improve event and partnership strategy.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $83,200.00 - $132,800.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $79,000.00 - $126,200.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • 7–10 years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, or related strategic marketing roles.

  • Proven success leading large-scale event programs from strategy through execution with measurable business impact.

  • Experience building and managing partnerships, sponsorships, or other marketing initiatives that drive revenue or business growth.

  • Strong strategic thinking and operational judgment, with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear, actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.

  • Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasting, and evaluating return on investment.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally in fast-moving, evolving environments.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% for key event programs.
