In March 2026, WiredScore was acquired by Meter, a company that provides internet infrastructure for businesses, deepening our connection to the technology that powers digital connectivity in buildings while maintaining our focus on the WiredScore and SmartScore products and standards.
WiredScore owns and operates two products; the WiredScore certification program, the first and only rating system for mobile and internet connectivity in buildings, which helps landlords assess, improve, benchmark, and promote their buildings, and SmartScore, the smart building certification, which helps landlords understand, improve, and communicate the user functionality and technological foundations of their buildings.
Building on growth across North America and Europe, WiredScore launched in UAE in October 2022 as part of its global expansion plan. It has since expanded its regional footprint with its launch in the KSA, Qatar, and Egypt. The business has gathered strong momentum over the past three years, with over 300 buildings now certified or undergoing certification by WiredScore in the MENA region.
Opportunity
As part of WiredScore’s continued growth in the Middle East, we are looking for a Head of Business Development to scale and strengthen our presence in the UAE.
Reporting to the VP of Asia Pacific and the Middle East, this role will be based in UAE with regular travel as required. This is a senior individual contributor role for a commercially driven leader who is excited by ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow into broader regional responsibility over time.

Key attributes we’re looking for in a candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a direct revenue-generating role, with a track record of delivering results
Must speak Arabic and English to a professional level
Strong experience within the UAE real estate market, with an established senior network.
Experience working with industry associations and local government to create awareness and evangelise the opportunity space
Demonstrated success as a hunter, comfortable with high levels of prospecting and deal ownership
Executive presence and the ability to represent WiredScore with senior stakeholders
Strong understanding of property market dynamics and active curiosity about market trends
Highly independent, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with autonomy
Both action-oriented and strategic, able to identify opportunities, craft an approach, and execute effectively
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end business development and sales for the UAE market, from initial prospecting through to deal closure. This includes but is not limited to:
Identifying and prospecting target developers, landlords, asset owners, and master planners
Setting and leading meetings with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
Conducting effective discovery to understand client challenges, objectives, and SA

Client and internal collaboration
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping ensure buildings are positioned to meet modern occupier needs
Collaborate closely with Client Success, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure strong delivery and client outcomes
Share market insight to inform regional strategy and global initiatives
