The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to spearhead our frontend development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in cutting-edge frontend technologies and a proven track record in building performant, scalable, and maintainable web applications. In this role, you will lead a team of 5-7 frontend engineers, driving technical decision-making and ensuring the delivery of high-quality user interfaces. This position offers a balance of technical leadership and people management, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

As a Member Of Our Team You Will

  • Lead and actively contribute to the development of frontend features using technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, ViteJS, Tailwind CSS, and AWS Amplify.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of reusable and scalable frontend components, ensuring adherence to modern design patterns and industry best practices.
  • Early adopter of AI Tooling in SDLC workflows
  • Ensure optimal web application performance with a deep understanding of Core Web Vitals, such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Contentful Paint (FCP), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
  • Manage and mentor a team of 5-7 frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and productive work environment.
  • Able to mentor the team, measure the performance of the team and also suggest improvements for increasing the productivity and efficiency of team members.
  • Own the frontend architecture and make data-driven, informed technical decisions to ensure the integrity, scalability, and performance of our web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to ensure cohesive, high-quality product development.
  • Able to plan the roadmap, think about efficient resource allocation and execution KPIs
  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality by conducting thorough code reviews and driving best practices across the team.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, set clear goals, and manage expectations in alignment with company objectives.
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring decisions to grow the team based on business needs and goals.
  • Leverage analytics and performance data to drive frontend improvements and make informed decisions to enhance the user experience

You’re the Missing Piece of the Puzzle

  • 7+ years of Front End Software Development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, ViteJS, and building frontend applications on AWS Amplify.
  • In-depth understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and experience with unit/integration testing practices.
  • Proven experience optimizing web applications for performance, with a strong grasp of Core Web Vitals (LCP, FCP, CLS).
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and scale frontend teams, with experience in team performance management, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
  • A metrics-focused mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and improve both the product and the team's performance.

Compensation:

130K - 150K
