We are looking for Senior Test Engineer to join our global team in building a scalable data-intensive cloud-native application within the grid planning and power engineering domain. The application stack includes Node.js/Typescript on the front end, Python and Java in the middle tier, and Postgres/Snowflake for storage and compute layers.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and execute automated end‑to‑end tests for the frontend application as well as the backend API server.

• Execute manual tests to verify bug fixes or spot-check existing functionality.

• Participate in product design and architecture reviews to identify risks, gaps, and testability concerns early in the development cycle.

• Manage test case repository, keep track of test suite executions, maintain functional test environments.

• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in testing of web applications, including backend APIs.

• Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and automation best practices.

• Working knowledge of SQL and databases

• Experience designing and implementing end‑to‑end test automation using programming languages and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Mocha, Chai).

• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑based environments (Azure preferred).

• Familiarity with Linux virtual machines and cloud environments.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a collaborative globally distributed team.
