Trunk Tools takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. Your starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. For this role, the estimated base salary is $120,000 - $170,000 with a comprehensive benefits package and equity component.

At Trunk Tools, we’re the leading AI company revolutionizing construction—the second-largest industry on earth. We recently raised a $40M Series B led by Insight Partners, bringing our total funding to $70M from top-tier investors including Redpoint and Innovation Endeavors. This new round is fueling our next phase of growth as we scale AI agents across the jobsite.

Our mission is to build the future of construction through intelligent automation. Despite being a $13+ trillion industry, construction still runs largely on analog processes—we’re changing that by embedding AI directly into field operations.

Founded by builders and technologists (Stanford, MIT), our team has delivered software used by over 140,000 field professionals, impacting millions of users and contributing to $10B+ in built projects. Many of us come from the field ourselves, giving us a deep understanding of the industry’s unique challenges.

After years of building the “brain” of construction, we’re now launching production-ready AI agents—starting with intelligent document processing and Q&A, and rapidly expanding into core operational workflows. Our team has doubled in the past year, and with 65+ employees (25+ engineers), we’re scaling fast and entering a period of hypergrowth—this is a rare opportunity to join at an inflection point.

About the Role

Trunk Tools is revolutionizing construction with a next-generation AI platform designed to supercharge the productivity of the deskless workforce. We’re seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and execute our Product go-to-market strategy across the full product suite—spanning AI agents, automation tools, platform services, and more. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer success.

You’ll develop compelling narratives, shape market perception, and drive adoption across a range of stakeholders—from field crews and project managers to C-level decision-makers. As the voice of the product in the market, you’ll help position Trunk Tools as the category-defining, field-first AI solution for the built world.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Positioning & Messaging

  • Craft and evolve clear, differentiated messaging that articulates the value of our AI platform and agents to construction and field-first teams.

  • Develop persona-based content and positioning that resonates with both technical users and business stakeholders.

Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Own go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, feature rollouts, and platform updates.

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure GTM alignment and readiness across the organization.

  • Drive competitive and market intelligence to inform positioning and roadmap priorities.

Customer Insights & Influence

  • Lead structured customer and market discovery to deeply understand buyer needs and product-market fit.

  • Translate insights into impactful marketing programs, product content, and roadmap input.

Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Create and manage sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, product one-pagers, demo scripts, and training sessions.

  • Collaborate with Growth and Content Marketing to develop product-focused campaigns, web pages, and thought leadership.

  • Ensure that product updates and new capabilities are clearly communicated and easily adopted by customers.

Data-Driven Optimization

  • Define and track KPIs to measure launch effectiveness, feature adoption, and marketing impact.

  • Continuously iterate on messaging and programs based on performance data and customer feedback.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing for B2B SaaS, ideally in high-growth or startup environments.

  • Experience marketing to deskless workforces or field-first industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, logistics) strongly preferred.

  • Experience marketing complex, technical products—preferably in AI, automation, or platform-based solutions.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a talent for storytelling and simplification.

  • Proven success launching new products, driving adoption, and enabling customer-facing teams.

  • Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders—from engineering and product to marketing and sales.

  • Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution and a bias for action.

  • Empathy for customers and an eagerness to improve how people work in the real world.

  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, HubSpot, or equivalent for managing roadmaps and campaigns.
