Position Overview:

Stackpoint is a venture studio building AI-native companies across real estate, construction, hospitality, and financial services. We are looking for a Principal Engineer to embed with portfolio companies, architect and ship full-stack systems from prototype through MVP, and transition to the next build as founding engineering teams are hired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-stack product development (backend and frontend) across the portfolio

• Infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment management

• AI-native development including LLM integration and agentic workflows

• Collaboration with PMs, designers, and founding CEOs

• Technical handoff support when portfolio companies build their own teams

• Studio tooling and R&D contributions

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• Proven 0-to-1 building at seed to Series A stage

• Production experience with agentic AI workflows

• Proficiency in Python or Node.js and React/Next.js

• Data pipeline experience (unstructured data, embeddings, vector stores)

• Strong understanding of secure architecture principles
