Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 annually (Exempt / Full-Time)
  • Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Based)
  • Working Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (EST) -- We are prioritizing candidates that live in the Eastern & Central time zone
  • Travel: Minimal (approx. 5%) for team off-sites or strategic meetings

Job Summary:

At RoadRunner, our growth is powered by our sales engine—and that engine starts with our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). We are looking for a high-impact Sales Hiring Specialist to own the end-to-end selection program for our SDR organization.

Reporting directly to the Director, Talent and Performance, you will serve as the chief gatekeeper and talent architect for our revenue organization. You won't just screen candidates; you will partner directly with Sales Leadership to define top-performer profiles, optimize our interview frameworks, analyze hiring metrics, and drive long-term SDR retention and performance.

Primary Duties Including % of time:

  • 40% Lead Candidate Selection & Assessment: Conduct initial phone screens and final behavioral interviews for all sales roles, partnering with Sales Managers to make confident hire/no-hire decisions.
  • 25% Partner on Profile Strategy & Sourcing: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Inside Sales leadership to ensure sourcing strategy aligns with our target SDR profile. Continuously analyze turnover data and performance metrics to recommend key profile and sourcing refinements.
  • 15% Optimize & Measure the Hiring Funnel: Track, measure, and report on key recruiting metrics. Translate data trends into actionable process improvements that drive hiring efficiency, quality, and candidate speed.
  • 20% Innovate Selection Methodologies: Stay ahead of modern interviewing research, behavioral evaluation techniques, and bias-mitigation practices to continuously raise the bar for talent selection.

What we are looking for

  • Behavioral Assessment Expertise: Extensive experience conducting structured behavioral interviews (sales or high-volume revenue recruitment preferred).
  • Bias-Free Evaluation: Deep knowledge of modern interviewing techniques designed to eliminate bias, solicit complete candidate responses, and build diverse, high-performing teams.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: Proven ability to analyze hiring and retention metrics, identify operational trends, and translate insights into strategic action items.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to guide, coach, and align Sales Coaches, HRBPs, and Hiring Managers toward unified talent decisions.
  • Agility & Sound Judgment: High comfort operating in ambiguity, using strong business acumen to make confident, quality hiring decisions under tight timelines.
  • Project Management Mastery: Excellent organization skills with the agility to manage competing hiring priorities with minimal supervision.
