Your Role
As Director, People & Culture, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, playing a dual role that blends hands-on regional execution with strategic global leadership. This is a high-impact position responsible for driving our People across EMEA while also executing our global People & Culture agenda. You’ll act as a trusted business partner across the EMEA and NoAm regions — managing all aspects of recruitment, employee relations, and people initiatives — while also leading a small but high-performing global P&C team, and owning the full global HR remit including performance, engagement, L&D, facilities, compensation and organizational design.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the primary P&C Business Partner for the EMEA and NoAM regions, providing day-to-day support to leaders and teams.
- Lead all end-to-end Employee Relations (ER) processes, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management cases, ensuring risk is managed appropriately and outcomes are fair and consistent.
- Partner with leaders to build workforce plans, talent pipelines, and succession plans for the region.
- Ensure all People practices are fully compliant with local labour laws and regulations across the UK and America.
- Foster a culture of high performance, feedback, collaboration, inclusion, and innovation across a global workforce.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, well-being, development and retention.
- Work with our existing recruitment lead to manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across EMEA and NoAm, from scoping and briefing through to offer and onboarding, working closely with hiring managers and external partners.
- Manage performance management processes that drive accountability, alignment, and growth.
- Drive competitive and equitable compensation, benefits, and recognition programs tailored to global markets.
- Ensure all RL office locations are safe, functional, and aligned with company culture, values and operational standards. Manage space optimization, vendor relationships, and compliance with local regulations to deliver a consistent and exceptional workplace experience globally
- Oversee global HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Your Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in People & Culture / HR roles, with a mix of strategic and operational exposure.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR across the UK, including deep understanding of regional employment laws and practices - knowledge of employment law and ER processes across APAC and NoAM regions is an advantage.
- Strong track record of leading Employee Relations processes with confidence and care.
- Experience managing recruitment in-house, ideally across multiple geographies.
- Proven success in leading and developing a People team with global responsibilities.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically — you're as confident developing a global performance framework as you are running a disciplinary process or leading a hiring brief.
- Commercially minded, data-informed, and able to influence at all levels of the business.
- Deeply empathetic and passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing culture.
- Previous experience working in a high-growth, international business is a strong plus.
