We are looking for a Roof Framer to join our growing construction team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling and framing complex roof structures according to engineered plans and building codes. You’ll work closely with site leads, layout carpenters, and the design team to ensure roof systems are built accurately, safely, and efficiently on site.

What you will do:
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings for roof framing layouts.
- Cut, assemble, and install rafters, trusses, and other roof framing components using hand and power tools.
- Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure structures are level, square, and properly aligned.
- Work with engineered wood products, including LVL beams and ridge assemblies.
- Collaborate with layout and wall framing teams to ensure seamless integration of roof systems.
- Follow all company safety policies and site regulations.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
- Identify and communicate any site issues, material shortages, or discrepancies in drawings.
What you will need to succeed:
- 3+ years of framing experience, with a focus on stick-framed residential roofs.
- Strong understanding of roof geometry, pitch calculations, and framing joinery.
- Proficient in the safe use of circular saws, nail guns, levels, and other carpentry tools.
- Working at Heights and WHMIS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
