Sales Engineer
PRODA
Sales Engineer
Department: Sales
Employment Type: Full-Time
About PRODA
At PRODA, we are revolutionising the way real estate professionals manage and interact with their data. Our platform uses state-of-the-art technology to automatically capture, standardise, and quality check commercial real estate (CRE) data—turning disparate rent rolls and financial documents into structured, usable insights.
Despite being the largest asset class globally, CRE still heavily relies on Excel and PDF documents to exchange information. These formats often lead to errors, inefficiencies, and missed opportunities. PRODA solves this by enabling our clients to:
- Build repositories of clean, standardised data
- Increase process efficiency through faster reporting
- Improve data-driven decision-making
Founded in 2017 by two former Real Estate Investment professionals, we’re a fast-growing, Series-A-backed SaaS company with a global client base, a stellar product, and ambitious goals. Now, we’re looking for a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us scale.
The Role
The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the sales team, particularly during Proof of Concept (POC) stages. You’ll be responsible for deeply learning our platform and effectively demonstrating it to prospective clients—showing how PRODA directly addresses their challenges.
This role blends technical understanding with client-facing responsibilities. You’ll act as a product expert during sales cycles and ensure that POC implementations run smoothly, driving engagement and conversion. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about real estate technology, enjoys solving problems, and is excited by the idea of growing with a high-growth SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team during discovery, demo, and POC phases with technical knowledge and product insights
- Run tailored POCs for prospective clients to showcase product value and workflows
- Lead platform demonstrations that translate client pain points into real product solutions
- Collaborate with sales executives to build strategic approaches for complex deals
- Act as a technical liaison between sales, product, and customer success teams
- Help identify customer needs and feed that insight into product development
- Collect and analyse competitive intelligence to improve messaging and demos
- Support event planning, client onboarding, and marketing initiatives where needed
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales engineering, pre-sales, technical account management, or related client-facing role
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience running software demos or implementations (especially for B2B SaaS platforms)
- Comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders, including finance and asset management professionals
- Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up habits
- Proficiency with Excel
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot is a plus
- A background or interest in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) or finance is highly desirable
Career Path & Growth
At PRODA, we value ambition and adaptability. This role offers strong development opportunities, with a clear path to evolve into either:
- Sales Manager – owning a pipeline and leading strategic deals
- Customer Success – guiding clients post-sale, focusing on onboarding, training, and retention
We actively support internal mobility and want our team members to grow with us.
Why Join PRODA?
- High-impact role with autonomy and responsibility from day one
- Join a passionate, collaborative, and diverse team
- Work on a meaningful product that’s transforming an entire industry
- Flexible hybrid work environment
- Stock options
- Learning & development budget
- Social events, team lunches, and quarterly offsites
Our Commitment to Diversity
