Job Description

We’re looking for a Manager, Inside Sales, Public Sector to join Procore’s Inside Sales team. In this role, you’ll lead a team dedicated to managing renewal opportunities with existing customers, capturing renewal revenue, and identifying cross-sell and expansion opportunities. Your primary goal will be to drive customer retention and grow our US Public Sector sales.

As a Manager, Inside Sales, Public Sector, you’ll partner with Public Sector Account Executives, Customer Success Engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop strategies for account renewals, expansions, and new opportunities. Use your sales leadership, collaboration, and performance management skills to build a high-performing team that consistently exceeds sales objectives and strengthens customer relationships. This position reports into the Head of Public Sector Partnerships and Inside Sales and can be based remotely, USA. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of Inside Sales Reps to develop and close opportunities, driving revenue growth and customer retention

  • Attract, hire, and retain top-performing Inside Sales Reps through multiple recruiting channels

  • Foster a high-performance, high-accountability culture within the Inside Sales team

  • Provide training and support to ensure the team understands Procore’s products, industry, and sales best practices

  • Leverage key partnerships and strategic alliances to maximize customer renewals and retention while driving scalable sales motions

  • Conduct regular call reviews, presentations, and pipeline/deal reviews to help the team meet and exceed sales targets

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure lead quality and proper follow-up, contributing to accurate forecasting and performance reporting

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across the team

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying software sales experience (preferably in a SaaS environment focused on public sector)

  • 2+ years of management experience in a sales environment, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and promote talent

  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and experience working with channel partners like Carahsoft, Immix and AWS Marketplace

  • Proven success in selling via product demonstrations, email, and social selling

  • Experience using and implementing sales methodologies, with demonstrated success in quota achievement as an individual contributor

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $131,040 - $180,180. Plus commission plan for an estimated on-target earnings of $218,400 - $300,300. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
