Product Designer
OfficeRnD
About us:
OfficeRnD has one mission - making flexible and hybrid working a norm rather than an option!
We started building our SaaS platform back in 2015 to support the future of work. We believe that offering freedom and flexibility is the key to providing a better workspace experience. And that’s what enables us to develop products that matter - for our customers and for the world.
The company has offices in Bulgaria, USA, UK, Australia, and our teammates are the ones getting us to the top in our market niche.
So if you live and breathe technology as well, come and join us!
About the role:
As a Product Designer, you will be part of the Product Design team and take ownership of crafting intuitive and effective user experiences throughout the entire product development process. From identifying real user problems to exploring and validating potential solutions, your focus will be on delivering the best possible version of the product within set timelines.
You will contribute to the end-to-end user experience for a SaaS product used by over 30,000 users daily across multiple channels, including web and mobile, addressing the diverse needs of various user personas.
This is a 2-year maternity cover contract, with the possibility of a transition into a permanent role.
What you’ll do:
- Own feature design from the idea through the implementation and launch, including research, wireframes, prototypes, annotations, and QA.
- Plan and conduct user research studies for mobile and web products.
- Define personas, target users, assess users’ needs, and determine requirements for design.
- Collaborate with the Design team on creating a consistent and stellar user experience across various channels.
- Analyze existing user flows, information architecture, and page-to-page flow to produce elegant design solutions that simplify current workflows.
- Create high-fidelity screens and detailed flow prototypes using Figma.
- Support the documentation, development and implementation of the existing Design System.
- Maintain and contribute to the existing Design Component Library.
- Deliver final specifications for the product interface, including visual look, user flows, and visual design.
What to bring:
- Empathy – the ability to put yourself in the shoes of a client and articulate their problems and needs.
- Analytical mindset – a desire to validate design decisions with data, and a need to relentlessly measure the impact of those design decisions.
- Strong conceptualization and visual communication skills. Ability to use visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively.
- Experience designing across all platforms: iOS, Android, and responsive web.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize projects, proactively communicate progress, and deliver on time.
- 2+ years as a UX designer, preferably in a Product Company or working on SaaS products
- BA/BS degree in Design, Computer Science, Psychology-related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
What we offer in return is the opportunity to join a talented team and also enjoy:
