About the role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at nesto, your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers via inbound and outbound phone calls about nesto's innovative approach to home loans and mortgage solutions. You will work with a high volume of leads, primarily using bilingual (English/French) communication, to ensure that every customer receives a positive and informative first impression.

In this customer-facing hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients before qualifying them and transitioning them to a nesto mortgage advisor.

Main responsibilities

  • Make inbound and outbound calls to warm leads generated by nesto.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience by addressing questions, offering guidance, and delivering clear explanations about nesto's mortgage offerings.
  • Collect and review the customer information required for the transfer to a nesto advisor.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their eligibility and readiness for mortgage solutions, based on gathered information.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of the customer to a nesto advisor for further consultation and processing.
  • Update CRM systems with accurate customer information, notes, and progress.

Must-haves

  • A completed high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, sales, call center, or telemarketing role is preferred.
  • Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other digital tools to manage leads and track performance.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
