We are seeking a Manager, Marketing – AEC to accelerate Matterport’s growth in North America. Based in Arlington, VA, this role will be on-site five days per week and report to the Vice President of Marketing. The successful candidate will drive marketing strategies that highlight Matterport’s innovation in digital twins, spatial intelligence, and AI-powered property insights—positioning the brand as the essential technology partner for brokers, owners, developers, investors, and tenants.

OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager – AEC will play a key role in driving Matterport’s growth within the architecture, engineering, and construction markets across North America. This role is responsible for developing and executing B2B marketing strategies that position Matterport as the preferred partner for firms seeking to enhance design accuracy, operational efficiency, and collaboration through spatial data and digital twins.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on B2B marketer with deep knowledge of AEC workflows, capable of translating complex technical capabilities into clear, value-driven marketing programs that resonate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing & Positioning

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that highlight Matterport’s leadership in digital twins, AI, and 3D spatial data for the AEC industry.
  • Create compelling B2B messaging and content that speaks to architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
  • Support positioning that differentiates Matterport as the essential technology for digitizing and managing the built environment.

Campaign Development & Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, events, and partnerships) that drive awareness and demand among AEC decision-makers.
  • Produce targeted content marketing, including case studies, thought leadership pieces, and industry-specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with agencies and industry organizations to expand Matterport’s reach within the AEC ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure marketing strategies align with AEC market needs and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials that help internal teams communicate product benefits to AEC clients.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track and analyze campaign performance using data-driven insights to continuously optimize results.
  • Deliver regular reporting and recommendations to improve marketing efficiency and engagement.

Industry Engagement

  • Represent Matterport at AEC industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Cultivate relationships with AEC partners, media outlets, and associations to elevate Matterport’s thought leadership and brand reputation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit college or university; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B marketing experience within or directly serving the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) sector — required.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that target technical and professional audiences.
  • Strong understanding of AEC industry dynamics, workflows, and customer pain points.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-oriented, with a proven ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
  • Highly collaborative and resourceful; thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
