About the Role
The Director of National Sales will lead go-to-market efforts across multiple regions, overseeing sales strategy, team development, and partnerships with key industry producers. This role will also play a critical part in evaluating and supporting commercial integration for potential mergers and acquisitions, ensuring the organization scales in a responsible and strategic way.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the national sales strategy, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and market expansion objectives.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential regional markets for technology deployment and customer adoption.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with producers, contractors, specifiers, and developers.
- Develop tailored go-to-market plans for each region, factoring in climate conditions, building codes, policy incentives, and supply chain considerations.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure regional customer needs are reflected in messaging and solution design.
- Lead commercial due diligence efforts, including market sizing, customer assessments, and competitive analysis.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in construction materials, industrial technology, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-state sales organizations and driving revenue growth across diverse regional markets.
- Experience in evaluating or integrating M&A opportunities, ideally within manufacturing or building materials.
- Established network within precast or concrete block production is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead and scale geographically distributed sales teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50–70%.
