The role

Our Client is seeking an experienced, target-driven Sales Director to lead our UK market growth and commercial strategy. This role blends strategic vision with a hands-on approach, requiring someone who is creative, entrepreneurial, and committed to delivering measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is performance-oriented, comfortable working to defined KPIs, and capable of translating plans into action. They take ownership, set clear success criteria, and maintain focus and resilience until objectives are met.
The position involves driving new business development and overseeing the entire sales process, from handling inbound leads to securing agreements, while also strengthening relationships with established clients in the Build-to-Rent (BTR) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors. Our Client is looking for a proactive communicator with solid industry knowledge, a track record in B2B sales, and a genuine interest in the evolving world of property technology.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy
    Design and implement a targeted sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the UK PropTech sector, aligned with wider EMEA objectives. Establish clear performance metrics, track progress, and ensure consistent delivery against goals.
  • Market Expansion
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building strong relationships with landlords, property owners, asset managers, and senior decision-makers. Grow the client base through purposeful networking, industry events, and proactive outreach.
  • Account Growth & Retention
    Lead strategic account management to maintain exceptional service levels, foster long-term partnerships, and uncover additional revenue opportunities within existing relationships.
  • Revenue & Commercial Oversight
    Own the delivery of revenue targets, overseeing pricing structures, contract negotiations, and renewals to maximise commercial outcomes.
  • Product & Market Intelligence
    Work closely with product and leadership teams to share actionable insights on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activity, supporting the development of tailored PropTech solutions.
  • Client Engagement & Solutions Selling
    Promote and present the company’s offerings with a consultative approach, adapting value propositions to address client-specific challenges and objectives.
  • Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and client insights to senior management. Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to deliver coordinated campaigns and exceptional customer outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales, preferably within PropTech, real estate technology, SaaS, or a closely related industry.
  • Strong awareness of the UK real estate and technology sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, with experience managing contract “redline” reviews and negotiations.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships at senior levels, including engagement with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, client-focused environment.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and familiar with property technology solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related discipline preferred.
