About the Role
The Vice President of Adoption will be the strategic force behind the company’s customer engagement and platform utilization efforts. This role is not just about tracking metrics — it requires working hand-in-hand with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure clients realize the platform’s full potential.
The mission: Drive sustained client adoption and usage, resulting in stronger retention, deeper customer relationships, and measurable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Adoption Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead strategies that increase product usage and help clients fully realize the platform’s value.
- Partner with Product to ensure features, releases, and the product roadmap align with client needs and adoption opportunities.
- Create and deliver programs that drive deeper engagement across client organizations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Customer Success to align onboarding, training, and engagement activities with adoption objectives.
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify and act on expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to shape campaigns and content that promote adoption and long-term engagement.
Adoption Operations & Measurement
- Build and refine the systems, processes, and performance metrics that support adoption and customer value throughout the lifecycle.
- Own forecasting, analytics, and adoption KPIs, ensuring insights are accurate, actionable, and widely understood.
- Foster accountability for adoption goals across all customer-facing functions.
Hands-On Leadership
- Engage directly with key accounts to address adoption challenges and promote proven success practices.
- Contribute directly to the development of playbooks, workflows, and enablement tools for Customer Success and other client-facing teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Adoption, Product-Led Growth, Revenue Operations, or related functions, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated track record of driving adoption, retention, and expansion within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in close partnership with Product, Customer Success, and other go-to-market teams.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with proficiency in CRM platforms and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication skills with the presence and credibility to engage executives and key stakeholders.
- Action-oriented leader who thrives in dynamic, hands-on, and growth-focused environments.
