The Role

Our Client is seeking a motivated, results-driven professional to support the distribution of loan transactions and participation sales across a broad network of financial institutions. This mid-level opportunity is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in capital markets, banking, brokerage, or real estate finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging both buyers and sellers, contributing to the execution of transactions on both sides of the market. This role combines outbound business development, relationship management, and direct exposure to a fast-paced capital markets environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside senior leadership to identify, assess, and facilitate the sale of performing and non-performing loan assets, including individual transactions, portfolios, and structured participations or syndications.
  • Contribute to the structuring, pricing, and placement of syndicated loans across senior, mezzanine, and unitranche facilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date insight into market trends, buyer demand, and liquidity across both performing and distressed segments of the secondary loan market.
  • Engage in proactive outreach to banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to promote active opportunities and generate new business leads.
  • Coordinate and schedule high-quality meetings with both buy-side and sell-side stakeholders.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM and sales enablement tools to ensure activity tracking and accountability.
  • Provide support to senior colleagues during deal negotiations and strategic outreach initiatives.
  • Record all prospect interactions and deliver regular progress and performance updates.
  • Develop strong expertise in loan sale structures, credit analysis, and capital markets dynamics.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in capital markets, banking, real estate finance, or broader financial services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of credit analysis, loan documentation, and syndication processes.
  • Experience within commercial real estate finance.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong interest in developing expertise in deal execution.
