About the Role
Our client is looking for a Solutions Consultant to support their sales team by serving as a functional and technical expert on their digital solutions. The role includes delivering tailored product demonstrations, advising prospective and existing clients on effective solution use, participating in sales discussions, contributing to the development of sales collateral and demo content, and supporting marketing and industry-related events.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivers in-depth product demonstrations using a consultative approach, guiding clients and prospects on optimal solution usage.
- Leverages knowledge of the company’s products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to communicate value and support the sales process.
- Maintains and updates demonstration environments, ensuring demo data and tools are accurate and aligned with sales requirements.
- Collaborates closely with sales team members by contributing to sales strategy, joining client meetings, and providing subject matter expertise.
- Develops and refines sales tools and demonstration scripts and conducts ongoing product training sessions for sales team members.
- Assists in the preparation and completion of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) as needed.
- Offers feedback from clients and market insights to product management, development, and marketing teams.
- Diligently uses internal CRM systems to document client interactions, sales opportunities, and forecasts in line with established processes.
- Represents the company at marketing events, showcasing products and services to potential clients and industry stakeholders.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of assigned solutions, completes necessary product certifications annually, and continuously sharpens demonstration skills.
- Strives to meet or exceed defined quarterly and annual performance objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software sales or presales, ideally with a cloud-based ERP provider or specialized point solution vendor.
- Industry background in real estate, with a preference for experience in the residential sector (e.g., Build to Rent or Student Housing).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Strong presentation and product demonstration skills; self-motivated and results-driven.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and clear communication style.
- Client-focused, highly responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
- Skilled at managing competing priorities and meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
