Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative who will play a vital role in driving both national and international growth. The focus of this role will be on generating qualified meetings for a senior field sales team, helping to build a strong sales pipeline.
They are seeking a bright and ambitious individual with up to two years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their sales career. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong potential and a genuine desire to learn, grow, and make an impact within a fast-paced, evolving business.
Experience in sectors such as travel, SaaS, e-commerce, or relationship management would be particularly beneficial.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop professionally. They should enjoy supporting a wider team while also being confident in working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of the top-of-funnel pipeline by sourcing leads, nurturing early-stage relationships, and generating qualified meeting opportunities.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new lead opportunities, converting them into meetings for the wider sales team.
- Engaging with key decision-makers to assess buying intent and timelines using structured sales methodologies (e.g., BANT).
- Collaborating closely with marketing to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of the value proposition across campaigns.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitor insights, and prospect feedback to help shape and improve outreach strategies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success with 1–2 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within a SaaS or tech-focused environment.
- Naturally commercially minded, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn, and AI-driven platforms to build pipeline and generate leads.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving scale-up environment.
- Actively seek opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to the successful implementation of new initiatives.
- Develop a strong understanding of company data, identify meaningful trends, suggest data-driven solutions, and ensure CRM records (e.g., HubSpot) are consistently accurate and up to date.
- Engage in ongoing personal development and participate in training programs to enhance performance and skills relevant to the role.
- Consistently represent and uphold the organisation’s core values and behaviours in all professional interactions.
- Maintain a solid understanding of internal policies and procedures, always ensuring both personal and team compliance.
