Business Development Representative
Location: East Coast (Remote)
Our client is an IoT smart water management company that empowers property owners to significantly reduce their water expenses by minimizing water waste at their properties and enabling more equitable forms of tenant billing. Most apartment buildings in the U.S. were not designed to be sub-metered, meaning that building owners and operators have no visibility into how water is being used in their buildings. Our client’s innovative and cost-effective technology solves this problem, saving money for their customers and conserving water for the planet.
Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B business development or related roles.
  • Familiarity or experience with the multi-family real estate industry is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience working with HubSpot CRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients in the multi-family real estate industry.
  • Leverage multiple outreach channels (email, cold calling, LinkedIn) to generate sales-qualified leads at the Director, VP, or C-Level.
  • Meet or exceed the monthly and quarterly targets of meetings set with potential clients for the VP of Sales.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to communicate feedback from prospects and assist in creating new sales collateral for outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development or sales roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Coachable and eager to learn.
