Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Data Onboarding Associate to join our Customer Enablement team in London at our Soho HQ. In this entry-level role, you’ll be at the heart of how customers experience Kato helping new clients get up and running smoothly, with a focus on data onboarding and implementation.

You’ll work closely with our Data Implementation Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure data is delivered accurately, projects stay on track, and customers receive an exceptional onboarding experience.

This role is the perfect launchpad for someone who’s detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited by the idea of growing into a career in implementation, data, or customer success within a fast-moving SaaS business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🎯 Customer Onboarding Support Assist in managing new customer onboarding projects from start to finish ensuring timelines are met, data is accurately prepared, and customers feel confident every step of the way.

🎯 Data Processing & Quality Assurance Collect, validate, and format customer data for upload into Kato systems. You’ll check for accuracy and completeness, becoming a trusted gatekeeper for clean, reliable information.

🎯 Project Coordination Track progress across multiple onboarding projects, keeping everything organised and flagging any risks or delays early. You’ll help maintain detailed documentation to keep everyone aligned.

🎯 Customer Communication Work directly with customers to gather key information, resolve data-related questions, and provide clear updates on progress.

🎯 Collaboration Across Teams Partner with the Data Implementation Manager, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless handovers and smooth system setup for each client.

🎯 Continuous Improvement Contribute fresh ideas to refine our onboarding process and elevate the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re not just looking for experience….we’re looking for someone with drive, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:

  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • A strong communicator - professional, clear, and responsive.
  • Detail-oriented, especially when working with data (spreadsheets, imports, validation).
  • Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Tech-curious, with a genuine interest in data and SaaS products.
  • A proactive team player who loves solving problems and making things happen.
  • Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to SaaS, property, or data environments …. but it’s not required!

Your First Two Months at Kato:

We believe in setting you up for success and here’s what your early journey will look like:

Month 1

  • Meet the Customer Enablement team and get familiar with our onboarding processes and tools.
  • Learn how Kato’s platform, data systems, and customer projects come together.
  • Shadow onboarding projects to understand customer workflows.
  • Work with your line manager to collect and process data, and assist with client communications to ensure on-time delivery of our new product.
  • Be self-sufficient with all tasks relating to data collection, processing and client comms.

Month 2

  • Take ownership of your own onboarding projects under supervision
  • Begin communicating directly with customers to collect and process onboarding data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation or efficiency.
  • Manage 2–3 small customer onboarding projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.
