ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lobby Ambassador, you’ll be the first and last impression for everyone entering and leaving the building. Your job is to make arrivals and departures feel smooth, welcoming, and professional.
We believe community, connectivity, and productivity are what make people want to be in a building. The person who will do well in this role understands that a warm greeting, helpful directions, and attention to detail can make someone’s day better.
This is a hospitality role. Success comes from consistency — being reliable, friendly, and attentive so tenants feel not just welcomed, but supported throughout their day.
This is an in-person position and requires standing for extended periods of time.

This Role Isn’t For You If…

  • You’d rather work behind the scenes than interact with people face-to-face.

  • You don’t enjoy repeating daily routines like greetings, check-ins, and basic guest support.

  • Standing for long periods or switching between small tasks feels draining.

  • You’re not comfortable taking responsibility for problems in the lobby and helping resolve them.

  • You see hospitality as optional instead of a core part of the job.

What You Will Do

  • Greet tenants by name whenever they enter or leave the building.

  • Manage the visitor system: pre-register guests, check them in, and guide them to their destinations.

  • Join daily standup meetings to prepare for expected events and arrivals.

  • Organize and deliver tenant packages and courier services.

  • Learn and memorize building FAQs so you can confidently answer questions about the building, amenities, and nearby restaurants or services.

  • Act as the first point of contact for any activities or emergencies in the lobby.

  • Keep the lobby clean and welcoming; report and escalate any facilities or IT issues.

  • Help track tenant preferences as part of the tenant experience team.

  • Assist with stocking amenity items, like snacks, beverages, or fitness towels.

  • Support building-wide events by helping with guest check-in.

  • Always embody Industrious and landlord service values in your interactions.

The hourly compensation for is between $26.00-$28.00. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.

Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package that may be available to employees.
