About the Role

Industrious is at an inflection point, with an incredible amount of opportunity in front of us to write the next chapter of how we nurture our special #soindustrious team, bring our expertise in workplace experience to millions of people around the world, build new business lines, and scale sustainable economics.

In order to help drive this growth, we’re hiring a right hand to our Chief Commercial Officer. Our CCO owns the P&L of our core coworking business and leads sales and frontline operations globally, across North America, Europe, and APAC.

In this role, you’ll be a senior leader responsible for turning commercial strategy into action. This will include consolidating and leading all revenue and operational analytics, elevating the analytical rigor and critical thinking across our team, running complex cross-functional projects, acting as a thought partner to our business leaders in each geography, and being a force multiplier for our CCO.

We’re looking for someone who runs towards complexity, loves building, can translate messy data into clear insights and storytelling, and easily builds deep trust with others. You also need to believe in the power of high performing teams that are also full of joy, which we believe requires bringing your full self to work, including your goofy side.

What Success Looks Like

  • You become a go-to partner for leaders across Industrious; people are drawn to you for the way you get to the heart of complex questions, unblock obstacles, and create a richer, more fun team environment
  • We have a single source of truth for commercial performance, it is set up to be AI-friendly, and we use it to transform our analytics outputs from reactive to predictive
  • Strategic initiatives you own are delivered on time, with clear KPIs and measurable business outcomes
  • Revenue performance improves as a result of better visibility, tighter planning, and smarter pricing
  • The CCO is able to spend more time looking around the next corner and role modeling for our team, with you owning the connective tissue of the org; he trusts your judgment through and through
  • International teams feel more connected, supported, and aligned with global commercial strategy
  • Our regional leaders and Head of Sales see you as a trusted partner in execution

You’ll love this role if:

  • You think of yourself as a data person. You’re not just analytical, but you feel your heart beat faster when someone tells you there’s a large data set yet to be explored.
  • You’re a business thinker who naturally distills down messy observations into a series of analytical questions to be answered. You can gush about recent projects you’ve personally led to get to the bottom of complex questions.
  • Others tell you that you’re really good at storytelling using data
  • You’re already using AI tools in your day-to-day. You’re adept at using the LLMs to do analysis you don’t already know how to do, and you already have a cadence of teaching yourself about the latest advances
  • You easily zoom between big picture, company-level questions and day-to-day decision-making. You have a strength in prioritization, both for your own time and getting groups of cross-functional teams to march to the beat of the same drum.
  • You have successfully built trust with leaders who have different mindsets and motivations than you have. You appreciate diversity of leadership style and know how to harness it, instead of rolling your eyes or seeing it as the least wanted task
  • You have been told that you give excellent feedback that helps everyone around grow
  • You take work seriously, but not yourself. You like to have fun at work and want to contribute to an environment that’s full of laughter and joy, even as we’re tackling hard problems

This role isn’t for you if:

  • You get stressed when you’re keeping multiple balls in the air, or you prefer that someone is there to tell you which balls to juggle and which to let drop
  • You can do analysis in Excel, but you’re not confident in visualization tools (like Looker, Tableau, etc.), advanced modelling, and SQL
  • You are amazing at analytics, but you’d rather be behind the scenes. You get anxious thinking about making a presentation to a large group.
  • You don’t tend to gravitate towards getting to know your colleagues deeply as people
  • You know that working cross-functionally drains your energy (even if you also know it’s important)
  • You’ve never worked across countries and continents

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Own commercial strategy development: annual planning, quarterly priorities, and OKR frameworks
  • Partner with the CCO to distill high-level goals into clear, measurable workstreams
  • Help define and refine the org design that best supports growth across international and domestic markets

Analytics & Insights Leadership

  • Lead all commercial analytics, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Identify the metrics that matter — and ensure we’re tracking them consistently across sales, pricing, marketing, and operations
  • Build or oversee dashboards, models, and frameworks that inform decision-making

Sales & Go-to-Market Enablement

  • Partner closely with the Head of Sales to optimize GTM strategy, sales process, and territory planning
  • Collaborate with the GM of North America to align commercial initiatives across the U.S. footprint and ensure the domestic business has the data, insights, and structure it needs to grow
  • Help ensure global alignment across regions, while allowing for local flexibility

International Partnership & Support

  • Work with country leaders in APAC, the EU, and the UK to localize strategy, provide strategic support, and ensure regional teams are resourced and represented in central planning
  • Help the CCO stay connected to international needs and maintain visibility into market dynamics abroad

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Serve as the connective tissue between commercial, finance, product, operations, and marketing
  • Translate business needs into coordinated, cross-functional projects
  • Track progress against key initiatives and resolve blockers across teams

Project Management

  • Lead or delegate mission-critical projects where no clear owner exists
  • Establish clarity of scope, timelines, and accountability for ambiguous or high-risk workstreams

What You’ll Bring

  • 8–12 years in strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or analytical leadership (ideal backgrounds include ex-consultants, hotel/retail operators, or hybrid general managers with a strong data backbone)
  • Experience leading multi-functional projects and/or managing cross-functional commercial teams
  • Proven ability to operate at both 30,000 feet and in the weeds — you can drive a board meeting or rebuild a broken spreadsheet
  • Strong communication and executive presence; able to translate data into clear narratives
  • Advanced analytical toolkit: Excel modeling, dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI), SQL a plus
  • A bias for action, high EQ, and strong organizational judgment
  • Global experience or cross-cultural business exposure strongly preferred

Compensation

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $190,000 and $210,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications. You will also be eligible for an annual 15% bonus and participation in our long-term incentive program.

Base and bonus compensation are just two components of Industrious’ total compensation package for this role. Other great perks and benefits include heavily subsidized healthcare plans, generous paid time off, wellness programs, professional development grants, 401k plan, and many other benefits, subject to applicable eligibility criteria and company policies.

Equal Employment Opportunity:

We have a long-standing commitment to providing equal employment opportunity to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, veteran status, political belief, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
