Get 100 is a fast-growing, innovative company led by CEO Caren Maio, backed by Camber Creek. We’re building industry-leading solutions and are searching for an exceptional Head of Risk to architect, scale, and continuously evolve our risk, fraud, and underwriting functions.
Role Overview
As the Head of Risk, you will be the senior leader responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling all aspects of risk management, fraud prevention, and underwriting. You will develop the strategic frameworks, systems, and processes that protect the business while enabling intelligent, automated growth.
This is a high-impact role with broad ownership across risk strategy, fraud detection, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale the risk, fraud prevention, and underwriting function.
- Develop, enhance, and iterate on fraud strategies, workflows, and investigation processes.
- Own and maintain all risk and underwriting policies, ensuring regulatory compliance with consumer screening and applicable regulations.
- Create and implement SOPs, QA processes, and systemic improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze risk KPIs, refining thresholds and automation to optimize performance.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to enhance risk tooling, fraud detection systems, and automation capabilities.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or underwriting.
- Deep expertise in:
- Document manipulation
- Synthetic identity detection
- Emerging fraud patterns
- Strong understanding of consumer screening regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience building and leading teams.
Preferred Experience (Bonus)
- Background in PropTech, FinTech, FraudTech, or screening technologies.
- Experience scaling risk tooling or automation in high-growth environments.
