Join Our Flash Team as a Manager of Order Fulfillment!
The Manager of Order Fulfillment oversees warehouse operations to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed efficiently and in line with each program’s Operating Procedures. You will collaborate with the entire team to create workplace efficiencies and maintain a healthy company culture. Leading by example, your actions and decisions encourage your colleagues to be dedicated to Flash’s vision, mission, and values.
The Manager of Order Fulfillment directs and optimizes all activities related to fulfilling customers’ contract and support orders. This role requires coordinating with Supply Chain/Procurement to ensure custom items are ordered, Production to ensure equipment is built, leveraging tools such as NetSuite, ShipHawk, Jira, and RFSmart, and supervising a team of materials handlers to pick, pack, and ship orders. You will work closely with Project Managers and Support to implement process improvements that drive operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.

Location: Dripping Springs Warehouse location – Onsite 5 days
What You'll Do:
Own the Order and Inventory Process
- Take charge of the full order-to-delivery journey—from order entry to picking, packing, and shipping.
- Solve order discrepancies and shipping challenges by collaborating closely with Support, Project Management, and Sales.
Collaborate Across Teams
- Be the bridge between the fulfillment team and departments like production, sales, supply chain/procurement, project management, and accounting.
- Work with IT to enhance our warehouse and ERP systems, making processes smoother for everyone.
- Coordinate with carriers to keep operations running seamlessly.
Ensure Quality and Safety
- Set and enforce clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order flow, quality checks, and logistics.
- Keep the team safe, the workspace organized, and operations running efficiently.
- Investigate safety incidents and put corrective actions in place when needed.
Drive Process Improvements
- Spot opportunities to make fulfillment faster, more accurate, and more efficient.
- Use data analytics and OKRs to track performance, remove bottlenecks, and continuously improve.
- Collaborate on strategies to optimize warehouse layout, logistics, and supply chain execution.
Lead and Develop Your Team
- Mentor, train, and support a team of material handlers to perform at their best.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a positive, safe, and productive environment.
- Manage staffing, create schedules, and coordinate workflow to meet daily and seasonal demands.
What You Bring:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite and ShipHawk is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and report on OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
- Utilize Slack for prompt communication with teammates and other Flash employees.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with:
- Operations Vice President to keep them informed of missing prerequisites and/or project deficiencies
- Project Managers to clarify order inconsistencies
- Support teams to keep them apprised of order status
- Carriers to ensure timely pickups

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Natural leader with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in order fulfillment, warehouse management, or logistics
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or logistics is preferred
Salary: Final salary will be determined based on candidate's skills and experience level.
