We’re hiring a Intern: Welding at our Corporate Headquarters in Moberly, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use hand-welding, flame-cutting, hand-soldering, or brazing equipment to join metal components.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
- Examine workpieces for defects and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

What You're Working With:
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits at all times.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Education and Experience:
- Beginner mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of welding tools and torches.
- High School diploma and currently enrolled in a Trade/Technical School.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a drug screen.
