We’re hiring a Senior Dealer Finance Administrator to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Senior Dealer Finance Administrator will be responsible for managing the operations of a finance/credit area. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with lenders, manufacturers, and vendors, as well as training sales staff and customers on financing processes. Additionally, the position emphasizes strong customer relationship management, focusing on understanding customer needs, presenting options, building rapport, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Finally, the role is responsible for asset protection through maximizing approvals, safeguarding company assets, overseeing the deal lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position is fully remote.

Salary range: $75k-$110k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage the Operations of the Finance/Credit Area

  • Lead the equipment finance function with full ownership of deal structuring, risk assessment, and execution
  • Coordinate with Sales Reps nationwide to obtain financing for customers
  • Provide customer quotes based on manufacturer programs while determining the best lender for customer based on history
  • Establish and continuously improve policies and procedures for the finance and credit department
  • Establish pricing expectations and incentives in relation to financing
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy
  • Identify market opportunities and develop tailored financing solutions to support sales
  • Develop and track customer relations through discovery process, closing and loan services
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define financing programs that support sales and business development

Build and Maintain Lender, Manufacturer, and Vendor Relationships

  • Develop & maintain good working relationships with manufacturers
  • Develop & maintain good working relationships with lenders and understand their guidelines
  • Seek and establish vendor relationships to maximize profits and excellent customer service
  • Attend relevant conferences and trade shows to represent EquipmentShare and build relationships

Train/Educate Sales Staff and Customers

  • Educate Sales Reps to help better understand equipment financing process and guidelines
  • Train Sales Reps on how to structure a deal and how to use finance to sell more effectively
  • Train new Sales Reps on equipment financing as part of the onboarding process
  • Provide continuing training to sales staff
  • Mentor and guide junior team members or cross-functional partners as needed
  • Provide printed or electronic materials to both sales force and customers

Customer Relationship Management & Satisfaction

  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding individual buying behaviors and decision-making triggers.
  • Present product and service options clearly and consistently to support informed customer choices.
  • Build rapport and gather essential customer insights to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Foster a positive customer experience that encourages respect for the business and long-term loyalty.
  • Ensure customers feel secure against unexpected expenses and confident in recommending the business to family and friends.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor alongside the sales team, providing ongoing updates on industry trends, promotional offers, financing options

Asset Protection

  • Maximize customer approvals and successful transactions
  • Safeguard company assets by adhering to responsible sales practices and maintaining transparency throughout the customer journey
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of deals, including origination, documentation, and funding
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Review of finance documents prior to sending for funding
  • Balance and ensure lenders funding is correct

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical/credit skills
  • In depth knowledge of the equipment finance products and market dynamics
  • Forecasting and a firm understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business with an emphasis on Finance preferred
  • At least 3 years banking and or construction finance experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
  • Occasional travel as business needs
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
