We’re hiring a Service Performance Specialist for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. As the Service Performance Specialist you will be a strategic enforcer of performance accountability, you will transform the way we do business improving equipment uptime, underperforming branches, identifying training opportunities and missed recovery opportunities. Work directly with the VP of Services and each director (Warranty, Services, Training, Remote Monitoring, and Procurement Support) to initiate actions, track completion, and ensure long-term resolution. Serve as the point of integration between service intelligence and execution, overseeing the flow of insights across the full Services vertical

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor dashboards and data sources to identify key performance gaps
  • Bring solution to the gaps and propose to different teams in Training - Service - Warranty
  • Clear definition of KPIs and deep study on improvement opportunities
  • Drive and Follow-up action and improvement plans through KPIs improvement
  • Create, drive and follow-up improvement plans for branch performance related to service KPIs (Warranty, Training, Work Orders Aging, PM compliance, main downtime reasons and other KPIs). Use the help of Product Line Managers for OEMs accountability.
  • Work with the Uptime Center identifying improvement opportunities in services/warranty/training
  • Launch, assign, and track corrective action plans across all service departments
  • Drive a weekly Service Action Review process, holding directors accountable for completion of their initiatives
  • Lead structured, data-backed interventions with field service teams and regional leadership
  • Drive performance improvement through visibility, urgency, and follow-through

Skills & Qualifications

  • Very strong service maintenance knowledge with field experience
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, as well as relevant technical knowledge are able to assess the Service Department needs and guide more laser focus approaches
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools with the ability to understand what to ask for the developers/data analysts and implement complex data visualizations.
  • Outstanding Leadership and communication skills to liaise and interact effectively with the service team, other departments, stakeholders, and other parties. Communication is valuable for collaborating with internal departments and building professional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze, interpret, and assess all different situations encompassing all service departments and determine their eligibility and accuracy and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Analytical skills help them identify areas of improvement, implement new strategies, and effectively manage costs. The position requires not only ability to analyze, but to bring solutions and options to all departments on how to solve the gaps.
  • Attention to detail is a vital skill because it helps to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information. The keen eye for detail enables us to maintain precise records, spot discrepancies, and challenging gaps in our operations.
  • You must have a strong understanding of service processes, the ability to interpret technical information and business needs, and excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • At least 6 years of experience
  • High School degree required, Bachelor's degree in Business, Services, or a related field
  • A technical degree and prior working experience in the service department will be strongly considered.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
