EquipmentShare is Hiring a Apprentice Program Manager

EquipmentShare is searching for a Apprentice Program Manager for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.

EquipmentShare is seeking a Apprentice Program Manager to be responsible for Apprentice team members and to help build and manage the company’s apprentice program.

Primary Responsibilities

  • To build and maintain an apprenticeship program across the US for EquipmentShare locations. This includes community colleges, technical and trade schools as well as bachelor’s and masters programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with school counselors and career services at both the high school and college level.
  • Partner with General Managers and Service Managers at key ES locations to build apprentice pipeline.
  • Work with the Marketing and Communications teams to help build collateral and branding campaigns.
  • Establish apprenticeship guidelines and procedures (tuition reimbursement, housing, length of stay with company, etc.)
  • Attend both virtual and in-person meetings with career services or counselors across the country.
  • Responsible for building and managing a team as the program grows.
  • Comfortable researching trends and forecasting future needs of the program.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A go-getter with the ability to build a program from scratch.
  • Resourceful in researching and finding solutions to common roadblocks
  • Must be willing to work with multiple teams and priorities (Marketing, Rental, Legal, HR)
  • Comfortable being the program’s spokesperson and participating in open-houses, trainings and other program events.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Project Management and/or event planning skills are a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior knowledge of higher education recruitment and career services a plus
  • Experienced in presenting to both small and large groups, either virtually or in person.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in front of a computer for 8 hours/day.
