Job Overview

As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and functionality of our cutting-edge modular construction systems at various client sites. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of on-site construction projects. You will work closely with our project managers, construction teams, and clients to guarantee that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.

What You'll Do
  • Execute on-site installation of modular systems, ensuring all components are properly assembled and configured according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct thorough testing of modular systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the installation process, providing timely solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Manage and allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues that may arise during construction, keeping projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the project management team, highlighting key milestones and potential challenges.
  • Interact with clients during installations, addressing any concerns or questions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Offer training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of modular systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all on-site activities.
  • Ensure that installations comply with industry standards and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental concerns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve the design, installation processes, and overall system performance.
  • Monitor project costs and work towards meeting budgetary goals.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in field operations, construction, or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Technical background in modular construction systems, with hands-on experience in installation and configuration would be a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, networking, and hardware components.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project conditions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Willingness to travel to various client sites as required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines
