DESCRIPTION

The Data Onboarding Specialist is a client-facing role responsible for onboarding hotel companies and hospitality technology partners into secure, stable, and repeatable data delivery workflows. This position serves as the primary coordination point between clients, third-party software vendors, and internal engineering and data operations teams to ensure confidential hotel performance data is delivered accurately, on time, and in accordance with defined standards.

Rather than directly building integrations, this role leads integration discovery, requirements definition, coordination, testing, and ongoing support, with a strong focus on improving onboarding speed, feed reliability, and overall client experience.

You will be creative, collaborative and self-motivated. You will need the ability to identify, engage and cultivate relationships with STR clients and technology partners to reduce onboarding times and to drive the automation potential of STR clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support our Client & Partner integration through leading discovery calls that cover client systems, data availability and delivery constraints as well as data security considerations.

  • Identify and coordinate optimal data delivery processes for each client, include integrations, testing and go-live.
  • Act as liaison between global clients, vendors, and internal engineering teams ensuring alignment on scope, expectations, and delivery schedules. You will also work with legal to ensure appropriate contractual frameworks are in place and identify additional risks.
  • Oversee data quality & feed stability through validating incoming data, partnering with the Data Operations team to resolve feed issues and ensure all data transfer complies with our obligations.

  • Put client experience and exceptional communication at the heart of all you do, ensuring that our clients are managed professionally, and effectively in all interactions.

  • Own documentation & process improvements including identifying and tracking relevant KPIs where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to a bachelor’s degree level, or equivalent experience, ideally in the field of hospitality, data, business management or finance.
  • Demonstrable experience in a client-facing, onboarding, or implementation role.
  • Working knowledge of common data delivery methods, including email attachments, SFTP, and APIs.
  • Strong ability to work with clients to gather requirements and coordinate technical delivery.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages a bonus.
  • Experience in hospitality technology or hotel performance data ideal but not essential.
  • Knowledge of STR data, products, and clients ideal but not essential
  • Familiarity with PMS, CRS, RMS, or hotel accounting systems ideal but not essential.
  • Exposure to SQL or basic data validation tool preferable.
