Guided by organizational goals and priorities, the HRIS Analyst will provide support to analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday and other HR Systems. You will focus on helping to take our systems to the next level by continuing to expand the system footprint and enhancing existing processes while providing end-to-end production support for Workday. You will work across departments and geographies, interacting with our partners in HR, Payroll, Legal, and Enterprise Technology, and play a key role in supporting M&A activities and managing the Workday project backlog.
Please note: this role is 100% in-office in New York City (110 5th Ave).
At Compass You Will:
- Act as a Workday configuration Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge of current functionality and capabilities including business processes and security. Supported systems include HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Onboarding, Payroll, Talent, and Time Tracking.
- Apply in-depth specialization in Workday to recommend and implement process improvements that create efficiency and scalability, including supporting M&A integrations and managing the Workday project backlog.
- Provide day-to-day support for Workday including troubleshooting data and system issues, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancements and fixes within the context of approved methods.
- Apply skills in requirements definition, functional specifications, analysis and design, system setup and configuration, testing, data conversion, and deployment of new functionality, enhancements, and process improvements within Workday.
- Represent HR Systems in cyclical Workday processes including biannual Workday upgrade releases, annual compensation events, goal setting, performance reviews, and benefits open enrollment.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in Workday by performing regular maintenance and system audits.
- Stay current with Workday releases and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new functionality and configuration options.
What We’re Looking For:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of Workday Core HCM experience including business process management and security administration with a focus in one or more of the following areas: Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent (Performance & Goals, Career Development Planning, Succession Planning), Absence, and/or Time Tracking.
- Workday Production support experience in an organization live with Workday HCM.
- Advanced Workday report writing and calculated field skill capabilities.
- Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet skills with proficiency in pivot tables, v-lookups, and charts.
- Work experience demonstrating performance of requested abilities, including analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Demonstrated clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail, ability to recognize and recommend improvement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and business needs.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is a base pay of $90,000 - $120,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
