**Please Note: This will be a full time in-office position in our Metairie Office**
As the Administrative Assistant you will oversee the management of the office to ensure everything is running smoothly and that our Compass office standards are being maintained. Administrators perform various tasks including data entry, processing of real estate transactions, advertising tasks and provide general assistance to our agents.
At Compass You Will:
- Perform general office duties such as scanning and distributing mail in mailboxes.
- Process purchase agreements, file requests, cancellations, extensions and closings.
- Notify agents of missing paperwork to close a file.
- Process and deposit all escrow and commission checks.
- Maintain office supplies, forms, computers, and other office equipment.
- Assist the Sales Manager/Broker with new agent internal onboarding to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and timely. Submit the completed packet to corporate for processing.
- Add new Listings, Private Exclusives, Broker tour properties to the PREZI for weekly sales meetings.
- Make Property flyers for our advertising boxes in the lobby.
- Support the administrative tasks associated with sales meetings and social events in the office and outside the office.
- Monitor emails from Agents.
- Produce monthly desk schedules.
- Refill the forms bin with necessary listing and contract forms.
- Notify an agent when a check is delivered to the office.
- Assist as needed with facilities management.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate computer skills: Google, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficient
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Grammar and business writing skills
- Real estate experience a plus
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Great listening and communicating skills
- Works well with others and empathetic to agent needs
