About Role:
The Reporting/Power Platform specialist is responsible for maintaining (and designing, developing, implementing) solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform suite which includes Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents for the current powerapps being used by P&O. The role bridges the gap between business needs and technical maintenance/implementation, enabling organizations to automate processes, analyze data, and build custom applications. The Power Platform specialist also provides SharePoint online support to the site, managing, maintaining, and enhancing the SharePoint site collection.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for automated or data-driven solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Design and build Power Apps for custom business applications.
• Develop workflows using Power Automate to automate repetitive tasks and business processes.
• Connect and integrate data from various sources including SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL server, Excel, and third-party API’s.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices are followed.
• Conduct solution testing to ensure functionality, performance, and user experience meet requirements.
• Support deployment, user training and post implementation troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance of Power Platform solutions and recommend enhancements.
• Stay current with Power Platform updates, features, and best practices.
• Serve as site SharePoint Online support; end user support, managing permissions and access control at site, library, and item levels as well as designing and maintaining effective site structures, navigation, and metadata.
• Working hours (US shift) to support Business Partners.
