This is a role within the Castrol organisation, and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. If you are part of the ring-fence, it is expected that your employment will move with Castrol to new ownership.
We are currently looking for Technician based at Silvassa with details mentioned below.
Let me tell you about the role!
• Should control process & activities of control room
• Starting & monitoring of batches
• Analysing raw material usage (RM management)
• Should be able to understand the criticality of problem and able to manage emergency shut down
• Get filling plan from production executives.
• Collection of batch cards & work order no. before start of filling.
• Filling Log sheet containing information about Hold Tank, Batch No., Line-up etc.
• Give initial and shift start sample to QC with filled BFDO.
• Routine Maintenance of filling lines
• Proper Air flushing, pigging and marking on flush oil barrels.
• Taking approval from production executive for printing of MRP & batch details.
• OG Filling: FG reporting in JDE 9.1 and Filling Loss (Delta-B) reporting. FG stock take & handover activities.
What you will deliver
1. Control room operation
• Execution of automated blending
• Raw material issue
• Receipt of daily blending plan
• Act on high level safety alarms
• Daily filling of blending logbook
• Preparing batch reports
2. Sampling operation
• Giving samples for testing to QC of base oils & FG along with the batch cards
• Collection of ‘OK’ batch card from QC and take that into production
• Man dosing as per the recipe required
3. DDS operation
• Confirmation of RM required /availability as per the blending plan and communicate to Control room.
• Dosing of RM / additives as per the recipe.
• Take care of oven activities
4. Tank farm operation
• Marking & reporting of tank level
• Collection of base oil from tank & get it density checked
• Unloading of tankers
• Making & Reporting of tank status.
• Circulation of base oil in tank & get its density checked from QC.
• Unloading of all the bulk base oil & additive tankers under stringent HSSE guidelines.

• Punching of blending report in JD
• Preparing loss reconciliation report (Delta B)
What will make you successful
Education
Educational Qualification / Certification:
Should be ITI in any discipline.
Knowledge / Experience:
About 3 - 5 years post qualification experience in Oil Industry in similar position.

Internal:
Site Operations and engineering team, Central and Global Quality control team, Technology team (ALP), Quality assurance, Sales team/ Central planning team, Key account managers, technical service managers etc.
External: Customers, 3P service providers, Suppliers
