Join our Finance Team and advance your career as a Finance ERP Transformation Deployment Manager. Work location can be Budapest or Pune.
As part of the Finance ERP Transformation journey, we are looking for a Deployment Manager, who will report to the Finance ERP Transformation Deployment Senior Manager.
You’ll ensure finance process delivery aligns with business deployment roadmaps and drive adoption of global template processes. You’ll identify statutory or tax requirements and work with Transformation Process Managers to address them. You’ll partner with Technology and other project teams to integrate finance needs and support build, testing and deployment. Together with data and change teams, you’ll help ensure a smooth rollout to the finance community.
In this role You will:
Act as the Finance Process SME, guiding business and FBT users in adopting the new global finance template
Define Finance implementation scope and future enterprise structure with the business
Capture and address process gaps and queries with Finance Process Transformation Managers
Ensure consistent, standard data deployment in partnership with data teams
Collaborate with procurement, O2C and asset management teams to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end solutions
Coordinate Finance process inputs with technology deployment teams
Support business users during testing to ensure adoption and solution validation
Deliver deployment activities on time, within scope, quality and budget
Identify and escalate dependencies and risks to program leadership
Partner with change leads to drive readiness, adoption and effective training
Work with enabling solutions teams to ensure alignment between ECC and S/4 requirements
Aligning with finance process leads to retrofits and approvals for deviations from global standards
Foster a collaborative, continuous‑improvement culture in a fast‑paced environment
What You will need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, Accounting or related field.
Extensive experience in SAP deployments with specific focus on financial processes and data
Extensive experience in/or in support of C&P and/or P&O - Refining businesses with specific knowledge of financial, operational and regulatory complexities
Experience in implementing processes & organizational change, including continuous improvement, in a large-scale project environment
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, interested party management and influencing skills
Good understanding and experience in working with FBT or similar centralized Finance functions
Outstanding ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced and demanding project environment
Desirable Criteria:
Good knowledge of S/4 HANA finance processes
Stable knowledge of bp SAP ECC environments, key integration points and historical context
Knowledge of processes and financial data flows of the current bp SAP ECC templates (i.e. global financial template GFT and Americas financial template AFT) and business impacts
Solid understanding of the fuels value chain, financialization of hydrocarbons and refinery processes
Knowledge and experience of Joint venture accounting processes in SAP
