About the Role

We are looking for a Castellón Refinery Supply Manager to lead our supply and optimization strategy for bp’s Castellón refinery. This role leads all aspects of crude, feedstock, and product optimization while partnering closely with trading teams to drive integrated value. You will lead a skilled team, collaborate across multiple refineries, and influence strategic decisions that shape commercial performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team handling crude, feedstock, and blend-stock supply to enhance margin and asset value.
  • Partner with trading desks and refinery teams across Europe to optimize coprocessing operations and product placement.
  • Develop and implement feedstock and product optimization strategies in coordination with trading teams and the Refinery Optimization Manager.
  • Represent refining interests in regional integrated supply and trading discussions.
  • Ensure supply decisions support safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
  • Collaborate with the NW Europe Refinery Supply Manager to optimize flows across bp’s European refinery network.
  • Support talent development, including running the Asset Economist rotational program.
  • Work with Finance and trading teams to meet quarterly working capital targets.

What You Bring

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 15+ years of validated experience in refining, supply, optimization, or trading.
  • Strong background of influencing margin and profitability across integrated value chains.
  • Experience in refinery supply optimization, market analysis, and working closely with trading teams.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in international and multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of European crude and product markets and coprocessing feedstocks.
  • Strong commercial judgement, risk management experience, and exposure to continuous improvement initiatives.
