Job Description:

As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, we must adapt to a changing world and maintain competitive performance. bp’s customers & products (C&P) business area is setting up a business and technology centre (BTC) in Pune, India. This will support the delivery of an enhanced customer experience and drive innovation by building global capabilities at scale, using technology, and developing deep expertise. The BTC will be a core and connected part of our business, bringing together colleagues who report into their respective part of C&P, working together with other functions across bp. Role Overview:

  • Lead and coordinate Supply Chain related activities within New Product Introduction process ensuring accurate, on time and complete implementation plan in place including risk mitigation plan and stock projection assessment.

  • Contribute to build NPI roadmap and masterplan for EU in liaison with x-functional tags and in sync with Castrol Strategy for AUTO, IGME and RKAM

  • Contribute to quick response into tenders.

  • Secure continuity of the NPI activities through backup for and support of the NPI team

Responsibilities:

  • Work across multiple sites and teams across a wide geography to ensure that all information required to support the NPI supply chain processes are available in full and on time. Respond to fast changing environment.

  • Manage NPI aspects supporting of product range set up and change management.

  • Manage NPI aspects and data collection for tenders using the existing process, provide input how to improve the tender process.

  • Manage all aspects of the ongoing set up of a phase out phase in process including product interchangeability maintenance in SAP and other digital tools.

  • Collaborate with all Planning teams to ensure that new ways of working for NPI are compatible with planning optimisation.

  • Collaborate with selected Marketing, Technology, Regional and Business contacts to ensure cross business alignment.

  • Provide demand and inventory status reports for product phase in and phase out plans for implementation projects.

  • Manage ODIMS projects, tenders and other product change related activities as directed by the NPI Implementation lead.

  • Provide insight to how to improve the quality and robustness of the NPI and LC process through analysis and general support to the NPI implementation Lead, with the use of digital tools.

  • Inputs to the setup of presentation material necessary for a successful Supply Review (ESR).

Job requirements & qualifications:

Education

  • Masters' degree holder or equivalent

Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience of New Product Introduction and Lifecycle management and a good understanding of end-to-end processes.

  • Extensive experience in product planning processes.

  • Expert knowledge and use of SAP and other applicable digital tools.

  • High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and business reporting tools.

  • Some experience in marketing, SC planning or logistics, customer service or customer facing experience is of advantage.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels in the company.

  • Good understanding of BP HSSE&C principles and expectations.

  • Strong track record in delivering with minimal supervision

  • Understanding of key business areas such as operations, marketing, sales, strategy and finance.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work with and effectively influence stakeholders in the business

  • Strong organisation and agenda management skills.
