Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure enterprise-level technology solutions. This role demands a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and leadership skills to drive efficiency and innovation across our IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of complex enterprise systems and applications, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
* Apply Agility core practices to project execution and team collaboration, fostering a responsive and iterative development environment.
* Utilize Analytics to monitor system performance, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements for operational efficiency.
* Provide Coaching and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
* Act as a key technical point of contact, demonstrating strong Communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain Configuration management and release processes, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.
* Implement and manage Continuous deployment and release pipelines to automate software delivery and improve time-to-market.
* Contribute to Digital Project Management initiatives, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic business objectives.
* Facilitate technical discussions and workshops, promoting collaboration and consensus among team members.
* Implement and enforce Information Security best practices, safeguarding sensitive data and systems from threats.
* Design and optimize Relational Data Modelling for various enterprise applications, ensuring data integrity and performance.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks through effective Risk Management strategies.
* Develop and maintain Scripting solutions for automation, system administration, and infrastructure provisioning.
* Ensure the high availability and resilience of critical enterprise systems through proactive Service operations and resilience planning.
* Manage Source control and code management systems, promoting collaborative development and version control.
* Contribute to the overall System Design and architecture of enterprise platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Enterprise Technology Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on enterprise-level solutions.
* Demonstrable expertise in Agility core practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
* Proficiency in data Analytics tools and techniques for performance monitoring and optimization.
* Experience in Coaching and mentoring technical staff.
* Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with Configuration management and release tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
* Solid experience with Continuous deployment and release pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
* Familiarity with Digital Project Management methodologies.
* Proven ability to Facilitate technical discussions and workshops.
* In-depth knowledge of Information Security principles and best practices.
* Strong skills in Relational Data Modelling and database design.
* Experience in implementing and managing Risk Management frameworks for technology.
* Proficient in various Scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
* Expertise in Service operations and resilience engineering, including incident management and disaster recovery.
* Extensive experience with Source control and code management systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
* Demonstrated ability in System Design and architectural principles for large-scale enterprise environments.
