Job Description:
As a Lubricant Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth by identifying and delivering value propositions to key customers. Internally, the title is Value Selling Advisor, and you will employ your strong consultative selling skills and deep understanding of the market to align Castrol's offerings with customer needs and optimize their profitability.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to improve Castrol's market share and profitability within assigned sectors.
Proactively identify customer difficulties and opportunities, translating them into compelling value propositions using consultative selling techniques.
Deeply understand customer and competitor landscapes, employing market insights to inform sales strategies and differentiate Castrol's offerings.
Analyze customer profitability and develop tailored solutions that enhance their bottom line, ensuring strong customer promise execution.
Lead the offer execution and growth of Castrol's product portfolio, effectively communicating product ownership and benefits to customers.
Cultivate and maintain strong partner relationship management, ensuring internal alignment and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Prepare and implement effective negotiation plans, demonstrating strong listening skills and offer/product knowledge to achieve favourable outcomes.
Job Qualifications
Proven experience in business acumen and critical thinking, with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling skills and a track record of building successful customer relationships.
In-depth knowledge of category strategy development and execution within a relevant industry sector.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess customer profitability and identify areas for improvement.
Excellent negotiation planning and preparation abilities, coupled with effective listening and interpersonal skills.
Comprehensive offer and product knowledge, with the ability to articulate value and drive offer execution and growth.
Experience in partner relationship management and fostering internal alignment to achieve sales objectives.
