Join our Technology Team and advance your career as a Senior Project Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and diligent Senior Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of critical data-related projects at BP PLC. This role will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, demonstrating strong data management and analytical skills.
In this role You will:
Support the Deliver Managers at squad, service, and portfolio levels through:
Leadership & Influence
- Advise Delivery Managers and senior collaborators on delivery priorities.
- Mentor junior coordinators and elevate delivery maturity and digital operating model.
Financial & Performance
- Coordinate multi‑squad delivery aligned to portfolio strategy.
- Supervise financial performance, resource use, and delivery metrics.
- Prepare cost structures, investment plans, and performance reports.
- Ensure quality of key project artifacts and support monthly reviews.
Project Coordination
- Lead cross‑team coordination and monthly performance reviews.
- Manage efficiency plans and support quarterly planning processes.
Risk & Assurance
- Identify, bring up, and mitigate delivery risks.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Embed digital quality assurance and quality gates across delivery lifecycle.
What You will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Many years’ experiences in Finance demonstrates governance, controls, quality assurance, cost reporting, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to diverse collaborators.
- Understanding of compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-enablers teams and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with governance and controls protocols.
