Job Summary
As a Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer at BP Business Solutions India, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure enterprise-level technology solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation, optimize operations, and ensure the reliability and resilience of our critical systems.
Job Responsibilities
* Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated enterprise technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural standards.
* Apply Agility core practices to technology projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, adaptability, and rapid delivery.
* Use Analytics to monitor system performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
* Provide Coaching and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting standard methodologies.
* Exhibit strong Interpersonal skills to optimally convey technical information to both technical and non-technical collaborators, facilitating teamwork and understanding.
* Oversee Configuration management and release processes, ensuring consistency, stability, and alignment to organisational change policies.
* Implement and lead Continuous deployment and release pipelines, automating software delivery and improving time-to-market.
* Apply Digital Project Management methodologies to plan, implement, and supervise technology initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Facilitate technical discussions, workshops, and problem-solving sessions, driving consensus and effective decision-making.
* Implement and make sure Information Security guidelines, safeguarding critical data and ensuring compliance with security policies.
* Develop and maintain Relational Data Modelling designs, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and optimal performance for enterprise applications.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related Risk Management issues, developing proactive strategies to minimize disruptions.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using various Scripting languages to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
* Ensure high availability and performance through effective Service operations and resilience strategies, including incident management and disaster recovery planning.
* Handle and apply Source control and code management systems efficiently, promoting collaborative development and maintaining code quality.
* Be responsible for the System Design efforts for new and existing enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in enterprise technology engineering with a consistent track record of delivering sophisticated solutions.
* Shown expertise in Agility core practices, including Scrum or Kanban.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in using Analytics tools for performance monitoring and data analysis.
* Validated ability to provide effective Coaching and mentorship to technical teams.
* Excellent written and verbal Communication skills with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical concepts clearly.
* Extensive experience with Configuration management and release tools and processes.
* In-depth knowledge of Continuous deployment and release pipelines and technologies.
* Validated understanding and practical experience in Digital Project Management methodologies.
* Validated ability in Facilitation of technical discussions and problem-solving.
* Strong understanding and practical experience in Information Security principles and standard processes.
* Expertise in Relational Data Modelling and database design.
* Validated experience in Risk Management within an enterprise technology context.
* Proficiency in various Scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
* Deep understanding of Service operations and resilience principles, including ITIL.
* Extensive experience with Source control and code management systems (e.g., Git).
* Strong background in System Design for large-scale enterprise applications.
