Job Description:
The Project Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing maintenance and planning expertise to projects, including maintenance, inspection, and optimisation activities.
This role delivers the execution content of the maintenance build, enhancing the technical strategy with the required resources, tools, materials, services, execution hours, and work instructions, to create a comprehensive maintenance program for safe and efficient work execution.
Responsibilities
Assign equipment strategies to tags based on equipment class.
Develop and validate maintenance procedures and job plans for equipment strategies.
Ensure job plans have the correct labour codes, hours and associated materials linked.
Ensure planning attributes such as planner groups, Safety Critical Work, Maintenance Plan descriptions etc are appropriately populated.
Ensure the packaging delivered is executable, considering isolation boundaries, condition for work and local work management processes.
Review the Safety and Environmental Critical performance standards established by Engineering and incorporate into the build.
Remove or update preventative maintenance plans and procedures within the CMMS.
Participate in project maintainability reviews.
Participate in the functional criticality assessment for all maintainable tags.
Provide guidance to the selection, procurement, stocking, and preservation of spare-parts.
Support the creation of Equipment BOMs, ensuring that BOMs are populated within the CMMS and equipment/spares are accurate prior to the operate phase of the project.
Education
Must have education requirements:
Technical Training Certificate or degree
Experience and job requirements
Minimum years of relevant experience:
5+ years of relevant technical field/site experience
Must have experiences/skills :
The position demands organizational and communication skills, technical ability and a strong personal commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
Experience in a site-based maintenance planner role.
Detailed knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP/Maximo and Integrity Management tools.
Proficient in reading P&IDs, and other technical documentation such control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, datasheets etc.
Experience of Bill of Materials (BOM’s) and materials management.
General understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Failure Mode and Effect analysis (FMEA).
Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as a productive member of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to areas of the greatest need, such as maintainability studies, task list/equipment BOM generation, assignment of maintenance to equipment, and other project maintenance deliverables.
Working Hours - UK/US shift (2pm - 11pm)
