With new executive leadership and a multi-year transformation underway, TA is modernizing operations, elevating guest experience standards, and strengthening its culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

We are hiring a Regional Vice President (RVP), Site Operations to lead a multi-state, multi-unit operational division with full accountability for retail, fuel, quick-service restaurants (QSR), and full-service restaurant (FSR) businesses. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role responsible for operational consistency, financial performance, safety, talent development, and brand execution across a large field organization.

You’ll join TA at a pivotal moment—where modernization, operational discipline, and scalable processes are core to our strategy. This role is for an operator with deep multi-site leadership experience who thrives in the field, leads with data and accountability, and delivers results in fast-paced, complex operational environments.

Location & Travel

  • Develop and mentor District Managers and field leaders, building a strong and scalable leadership pipeline.

  • Drive operational excellence through consistent execution of brand standards, SOPs, safety protocols, and service expectations.

  • Own full regional P&L performance, using data, KPIs, and operational insights to meet revenue, profitability, and productivity targets.

  • Improve labor, inventory, and resource optimization, ensuring disciplined, efficient operations across all business lines.

  • Support pricing decisions, capital planning, and regional investment priorities in partnership with senior leadership.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and internal policy adherence across all sites.

Champion operational transformation initiatives, including new service models, process improvements, and technology rollouts.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, People & Culture, Operations Strategy, Marketing, IT, and Safety to deliver enterprise goals.

  • Serve as the key liaison between field operations and senior leadership, providing transparency into risks, performance, and opportunities.

  • Elevate guest experience and service excellence, ensuring TA delivers a clean, friendly, and safe environment across all retail and restaurant offerings.

Aims & performance indicators will include:

  • Regional Revenue Growth & Profitability (RCOP)

  • Operational Consistency & Compliance

  • Guest Satisfaction & Brand Standards

  • Leadership Development & Succession Readiness

  • Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Strategic Initiative Execution

  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of progressive operational leadership in multi-unit, multi-region retail, restaurant, hospitality, convenience, or fuel operations.

  • Proven success leading large field teams and driving performance across various locations or a large geographic footprint.

  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to own and influence a multi-market P&L.

  • Experience leading transformation, scaling operational improvements, and implementing new tools or service models.

  • A leadership style rooted in accountability, collaboration, and the ability to inspire and develop others.

  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to influence senior executives and field teams alike.

  • High integrity, operational discipline, and commitment to safety and compliance.

  • Ability to travel extensively across the US (50–75%).

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems.

  • Valid driver’s license.
