Job Summary**
The VMO Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing vendor relationships and driving value across BP Business Solutions India. This position requires a highly analytical and communicative individual to lead strategic partnerships, mitigate risks, and chip in to continuous improvement initiatives within the Vendor Management Office (VMO).
Job Responsibilities**
* Apply Agility core practices to VMO processes, fostering continuous improvement and adaptability in vendor management strategies.
* Conduct in-depth Data Analysis to evaluate vendor performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
* Use Analytical Thinking to assess vendor proposals, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and value for money.
* Demonstrate strong Commercial Foresight in negotiations and discussions with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for BP.
* Lead and support the Running strategic partnership lifecycle, from selection and onboarding to performance monitoring and offboarding.
* Proactively identify and assess potential risks associated with vendor relationships, implementing robust Risk Management strategies to mitigate exposure.
* Facilitate effective Team member Engagement and Partner Management with internal teams and external vendors, building strong collaborative relationships.
* Leverage Creativity and Innovation to develop new approaches and solutions for enhancing vendor performance and VMO efficiency.
* Ensure flawless Integration of vendor services and technologies with BP's existing systems and processes.
* Conduct thorough Research and insights into market trends, vendor capabilities, and standard processes in vendor management.
* Communicate sophisticated information clearly and concisely through various channels, both internally and externally.
* Support Decision Making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations regarding vendor selection and strategy.
* Demonstrate Digital Proficiency in applying relevant software and tools for vendor management, data analysis, and reporting.
* Supply to the organization's Sustainability awareness and initiatives by considering balanced practices in vendor selection and management.

Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
* Confirmed experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related analytical role, preferably within a large organization.
* Showed talent in Agility core practices and methodologies.
* Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Experience in leading strategic partnerships and collaborator relationships.
* A solid understanding of risk management principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant VMO/procurement software.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* A keen awareness of sustainability principles and their application in business.
