Job Description:

As a Field Reward Senior Advisor, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing reward strategies that attract, retain, and motivate our workforce. You will drive cultural and behavioral change initiatives, ensuring our reward programs are aligned with business objectives and foster a customer-centric environment.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide specialist advice in the design of reward solutions that may apply to bp’s US retail business and lead where required.
  • Monitor and administer field bonus plans.
  • Provide guidance to field managers and other business team members on reward activities and solutions.
  • Pay analysis and recommendations, including internal promotions, site market analysis and minimum wage updates.
  • Deliver to allocated tasks as a member of project team(s)/ad hoc activity squad(s), on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Engage key business and PC&C partners to understand their solution needs and requirements.
  • Gather and analyze internal and external data
  • Ensure solutions are developed in accordance with bp group reward & wellbeing processes and policies.
  • Maintain awareness of standard methodology and external market developments globally.
  • Continually develop advising, project management and people management skills.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in reward strategy development and implementation, preferably within a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in driving culture and behavior change initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing change and addressing workforce concerns effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of organizational development principles and their application to reward.
  • Ability to apply customer-centric thinking to reward program design and delivery.
  • Experience with leadership assessment methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agility core practices and their application in HR contexts.
  • Strong organizational knowledge and business acumen.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Internal:
    • Senior reward team members – works as part of a project team to develop and deliver reward business solutions. Collaborates with reward team members both within and outside of Reward Business Solutions in the design and implementation of reward business solutions.
    • P&C Partners – collaborate with P&C Partners to understand business needs and implement solutions.
    • Field managers – provide support and guidance on reward matters.
  • External:
    • Market survey providers
    • Industry relevant P&C or Reward networks
