Job Description:
The Procurement Pricing Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate global pricing data across BP’s procurement systems. This role ensures the integrity of supplier pricing, supports analysts and procurement managers with pricing insights, and drives improvements in pricing processes and data quality across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate loading, maintenance, and validation of supplier price lists in the PDMS pricing system and ERPs (SAP/JDE).
- Coordinate global vendor pricing activities including creation, amendments, and deletions.
- Lead Purchase Information Records and SAP Contracts in collaboration with business support teams.
- Support regional P2P Analysts (EMEA, AMR, Asia) on pricing-related requests and improvements.
- Prepare pricing data for RFQ/RFP submissions.
- Generate pricing-related reports and insights for Procurement Leadership and category teams.
- Transition vendors onto the BP Vendor Portal to enable direct pricing updates.
- Maintain key vendor master data, including contact details and pricing attributes.
- Conduct manual invoice-to-pricelist verification in case of automation issues and resolve discrepancies with vendors and category managers.
- Recommend improvements to pricing processes, data management practices, and management reporting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent work experience in a technical or commercial rigor.
- Good understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and how it integrates with pricing.
- Experience working with SAP or JDE P2P processes.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical roles related to procurement or pricing.
- Experience working with remote, cross-regional partners.
