C&P Customer Excellence Lead – Service & Pricing Apprentice

Role and Responsibilities

  • This role supports bp’s transition to an integrated energy company by helping to deliver excellent customer service and efficient processes within the aviation business.
  • The position involves handling 24x7 customer service, including responding to enquiries, managing pricing, and supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • The job requires working in shifts to ensure continuous support and involves collaborating on new projects and driving improvements in customer experience and business processes.
  • The role also focuses on setting up systems, supporting project delivery, contributing to business targets, and recommending ways to improve and streamline aviation operations worldwide.
  • Provide 24x7 support by responding to customer and airport requests, including price quotes, fuel releases, and general queries.
  • Work with different teams and partners to improve processes and position bp as the preferred choice for fuel offers.
  • Promote and assist customers in using online self-service tools for better efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and support post-sales activities like dispute management and transaction error handling.
  • Help manage pricing, support workload peaks, and drive continuous improvement in customer experience through shift work.

Requirements

  • University Degree preferred (in Business, Finance or related fields)
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work and change direction as needed
  • Ability to help improve customer experience and business efficiency.
  • Experience in analysing, developing, and explaining complex business processes.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry and global pricing administration is a plus.
  • Ability to understand compliance and international trade regulations.
  • Commercial acumen and experience with continuous process improvement.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
  • Understanding finance and agile methodology would be an advantage.
